Guest：Wir sind seit vielen Jahren regelm??ig in Berlin und jetzt war auch mal die Pension Funk dran. Warum? Wenn man Berlin gut kennt, reizen individuelle Unterkünfte als Unterscheidungsmerkmal. Wir sind zwar eher Bauhausfans, wollten aber mal in die ?Babylon Berlin“ Atmosph?re eintauchen. Positiv ist die Top-Lage in der Fasanenstra?e, wo man nachts sogar bei offenem Fenster gut schlafen kann. Das Literaturhaus-Café schr?g gegenüber lockt mit Kaffee und Kuchen und einem abendlichen Absacker - im Sommer auch im Garten! Ansonsten sind die Unterkunft mit nachtr?glich eingebautem Bad und das Frühstück sauber und schlicht, was bei 119€ für ein DZ/F verschmerzbar war. Man k?nnte sicher mehr draus machen. Befremdlich fand ich, dass angeblich nur bar gezahlt werden konnte (nach Insistieren aber doch problemlos mit Girocard) und eine Rechnung erst auf Nachfrage ausgestellt wurde. Ein Schelm, wer B?ses dabei denkt??

Guest：A great place to stay - central location, charming host, clean and comfortable room, good breakfast and above all a splendidly atmospheric hotel . There's a mood of early C20th movie glamour and history - intensified by photos of silent film star Asta Nielsen and by the presence of a 1920s lift, worth a try. Highly recommended.
Guest：If you're tired of staying in plain, conventional hotels, Pension Funk is the place to go! My friend and I picked it after my friend's mother recommended it to us (she stayed there in the 80s as part of a school trip and loved it). The halls themselves are charming and feel full of history. The rooms are stunning and there are no two rooms alike. It was exciting to open the door for the first time and finally see what ours looked like. The beds are comfortable and the amenities available are all you need. I love that they keep to the 20s theme, with no modern electronics. It truly makes you feel like you're back in time for real. If you're someone who needs their room to have a TV, this is not for you. The staff are very welcoming and you can tell that the place is well loved. The breakfast they serve is simple but delicious and enough to start off your day of adventure. The location is great too. The hotel is situated on a quiet street close to several bus, u-bahn and s-bahn stations, among others. There are restaurants, cafes, shops, and malls nearby. It is extremely easy to get around. To sum things up, if you want to stay somewhere that is different and has personality, is in a great spot, with easily accessible public transportation, this is the right place. My friend and I decided that when we eventually end up going back to Berlin, we will stay at the Pension Funk again. Truly worth your money.
