Guest：Just completed a weeks stay at Le Britainia. Apartment was cleaned & well maintained upon arrival. Was pleased with the fact the bed was made up on arrival…. Not heard of before in Pierre Vacance! Also had a Nespresso machine ( with pods available in Sherpa downstairs) which was a nice surprise We had an apartment on the 3rd floor, overlooking the piste & seating area of the ski lodge(busiest pub in town)I was a little concerned that the noise may be a little too much, but it was no issue and actually provided a little entertainment watching folk try to ski away after their ‘apres’ Like most PV properties, no bar or restaurant on site. We tried Ski Lodge, which is mega busy/loud….. much preferred utilising the bar area of the hotel Montana down the road, they don’t mind non residents using it. Also used la Taiga bar down the road which was pleasant. Had to enquire at reception a few times in our stay - very helpful & efficient. Thank you Ociane, a real credit to Le Britannia & the PV brand! Look forward to returned next year!
Guest：We (2 friends) have stayed here on three occasions for a skiing holiday of a week's duration (2023, 2024 & 2026) We have always been impressed by all (but two) features of the accommodation. It is centrally located in genuine 'ski-in-and-out' position. Short of locating it on a piste one could not get closer! The mini-supermarket is well stocked and reasonably priced for a resort and is, literally, next door! The accommodation itself is sufficient for two adults, in a cosy atmosphere (but really no more) and is well equipped in kitchen, bath/shower room area and 1 double bedroom, with acceptable single bed in living areas. It has plenty of storage and beds were made up on arrival. The balcony is a good size with great views to the mountains and pistes (if you choose this). The staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful, including, where possible, later check-out and locked storage for as long as required - all at no cost. The cable car at Courchevel La Tania is a mere 200 metres away and easily reached by ski. It provides direct access to interesting pistes of le Plan Fontain (green but challenging in parts), Folyeres (allegedly blue but should be red, as some parts are very challenging) and even the final part of the Bouc Blanc piste (a red run but relatively easy at this stage). A further, cable car gives access to not only the rest of Courchevel but also the other two (now virtually three) additional valleys in this enormous and very beautiful, resort. The overall atmosphere of Courchevel La Tania is family-oriented and friendly. Our sole reserves are: the biggest resort pub, Le Pub Ski, is on the ground floor of much of this accommodation and the noise of the sound system can be deafening, even on the upper floors. We know they have frequent complaints (as do travel company couriers) but seem unwilling to do anything about it. Try to get accommodation as far from this as possible. The accommodation has no oven and very limited preparation area, but is otherwise well maintained and very clean.
