  • Guest：The resort was ok to stay at. We had an issue with our room due to sewage smells so had to be moved rooms, charged extra then. The restaurant was really good and the food and drink were good and the staff were all friendly. Located in a good area and lots of places to eat and drink.
  • Guest：Rooms are huge with 2 beds. We were placed in the newer rooms on the second floor. Our view was the other room/building. Not much to see. AC was working fine. We had a small kitchen with basic amenities including induction stove. Regretfully, the bathroom was a fail. Water coming out smells bad. Seems like a mixture of rain and salt water. Bathroom fixture needs major major cleaning or replacement. Rusty handles and tiles need regrouting. The property has an excellent beach front. But the beachfront is muddy and mostly seagrass (not their fault tho). Great for morning or afternoon strolls. Breakfast servings are quite huge. And wide variety of meals to choose from the menu. In house resto closes as early as 9pm. There is also a pool but weirdly located on the side of the resort. Literally, the pool is facing residential houses (which are just on the side) and residents can enjoy looking at you while swimming. Pool needs cleaning also. The resort is along the stretch of restos and resorts nearby. So you also have other options for dining out.
  • Guest：I stayed here for six nights. It was quiet and not many customers given that it is the end of the rainy season. The resort is off the main road in San Juan and about two kilometers or so from "downtown" San Juan. It is set back off the main road so it is pretty quiet. The loudest noises that I heard was the waves coming in during high tide. There is a bar/restaurant that serves a free breakfast, other than that, due to being the off season, the lunch and dinner menu was not available. The breakfast was good and the portions were good for a typical English or American breakfast in the Philippines. There is a nice size pool that was cleaned as needed. There is also an area for exercising with some equipment in there. One can also park your scooter/car on the property off the road overnight. It is owned by a retired American and his Filipina wife....never met her but Davey is quite interesting and helpful. He gave me a ride to the port in his truck the morning I left and that saved me 500 pesos....about nine dollars US. The rooms are well kept. I think that there was a tv in mine but I don't remember really since I never pay attention to a tv when I am on a vacation/holiday. It's useless to me. The room has a small refrigerator, hot water with decent pressure and a nice view of the ocean. Some do and some don't depending on what you choose. The rooms could use a bit of an update but nothing bad to say about them in general. It is what it is when one is dealing with traditonal styles of accommodations. The staff was pleasant but honestly, I didn't have to interact with them much other than to order breakfast. If you want to go to the "downtown" of San Juan, you'll likely want to get a trike. I'd stay here again if I were to go back to Suquijor.
  • Guest：We caught the shuttle from the port to the resort; it was easy and very convenient! Our room was cozy and clean with all the amenities you need. The balcony was a terrific place to relax before calling it a day. I loved morning strolls on the powdery soft sand at the beach. All of the staff were professional and extremely helpful.
