Room was awesome, amazing experiences at the resort and really great customer service

It’s a great hotel. However, they don’t have non-Tesla EV chargers, nor adapters for other cars. That’s already odd, given this is a fancy hotel next to DC. But it’s even odder that they don’t tell you that there’s a (paid) EV charger in the parking lot of the Town Hall, *literally* next door to the hotel’s main entrance (a 10m walk). So when we got there with our car’s battery almost drained, we had a mini freakout until we figured out on our own how to get the car charged. Not a dealbreaker, but in theory the value of these kinds of places is that they care of the details for you.

Customer service extraordinary. Only ONE suggestion for improvement! We're a vintage couple and the hostess in bar seated us next to a party with very young, loud, unruly and distracting children. Since there were other tables open, the hostess might be made sensitive to a better seating option for us "geriatrics" who reared our own children with thoughts toward appropriate behavior in restaurants. Otherwise, our waiter was simply wonderful and the food was spectacular! Essentially, I have go complaint...just that one little bit to add to the hostess job description.

The staff was really accommodating and the facilities were absolutely gorgeous!! Luxury and feeling like royalty the entire stay.

From the moment that we arrived, it was clear we were at a five star resort.The spa, although a little small, was excellent. The attentiveness of the staff was wonderful.

The property is at a close proximity to the downtown area. We were able to walk everywhere. Our room was spacious and immaculate.

We were most impressed about the outstanding friendliness and hospitality of the staff. Felt like in a Japanese Ryokan where the guest is king. One hick-up with the restaurant at the first night, which was charmingly fixed by the management.
