Un diner et une nuit au flocon de sel pour un beau budget, la chambre est correcte manquant de prise électrique notamment pour le sèche cheveux, relativement bruyante en début de soirée. Toute petite télévision, bon on l'a pas utilisée. En résumé, pas souvent dans un 5 étoiles, mais pour le coup pas l'impression d'être dans un 5 étoiles. Vue sur le chalet voisin. Le service est correct. Le d?ner est magique avec le menu randonnée pour laquelle on ne s'épuise pas. Et même si cela fait 3 fois le prix d'un simple étoilé sans doute un multiple d'étoile. Service très masculin et formelle sans originalité. On se déplace pour voir le chef en cuisine, une autre approche. La grosse déception vient du petit déjeuner qui n'est clairement pas à la hauteur d'un 5 *, un buffet réduit à sa plus simple expression, des retards voir des oublis dans la commande des suppléments, des jus de fruits au compte goutte. En résumé, pas d'effet waouhh et un rapport qualité prix plus que discutable, l'effet Megève sans doute.

Hi we were lucky enough to stay in the cosy apartment above the bistro and cave in the centre of Megeve Village. It was such a lucky find! Cosy, with a lovely fireplace and minutes from the Chamois gondola. The Flocons de Sel hotel couldn' t have been more helpful, great communication and nothing was too much trouble. The bistro even helped us out with some fresh garlic and an extension lead when we had friends over for a raclette. The only thing that could have made it better were a few extra items in the apartment. A broom, some more kitchen utensils etc. and also a guide to how to use the oven? If there is anyway of adding a toilet to the downstairs bathroom that would make it perfect. Also it would be helpful if it was more clear that the 2nd bedroom is only suitable for under 12's. Or if the trundle was replaced with a full sized single bed. Wasn't a problem for us as the sofa bed in the living room was super comfy. Also I think the TV should be a smart TV so we could cast movies etc as sometimes a family after a long day skiing may want to just snuggle up and watch a movie. A TV in the master bedroom would also be great. Like I said I loved this place, these would just make it even better!

This is a delightful place in stunning surroundings. Impeccable service at the well-appointed and comfortable hotel. The Eggs Benedict at breakfast were by some margin the best I have ever had. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open and the only gripe was the service at the bistro in town where the service was disappointing: unfriendly and very slow (3 hours is a long time in a bistro with eternal waits between finishing each course and being attended to). The food was superb but as we were having a belated intimate meal to celebrate my daughter’s 18th it was not as memorable as hoped. The spa treatments at the hotel are excellent and we greatly enjoyed the Nordic Bath. The rooms are very comfortable indeed and we much appreciated the small touches on arrival as well as the consistently outstanding service from the staff at the hotel. Many thanks for a wonderful short break.

Quiet possibly one of the best properties I have stayed, the staff was exceptional and the restaurant experience was on another level, Kudos to Chef Emmanuel and Staff ***

We had asked to shorten our stay because we had had an emergency but it had been refused, we had not asked for a price reduction when we made our reservation but this refusal had hurt us. Very nice hotel with very nice rooms and above all an excellent restaurant but we would have liked to have been able to go there twice but when we made our reservation we had only made a reservation for the restaurant and a 2nd time had also been refused to us,

The restaurant was one of the best 3 star Michelin restaurants we have eaten at, with some fantastic dishes - pike mousse stays in the mind especially. The vibe is a ski lodge, with open fire etc. The owners - chef and wife - and staff were attentive and engaging. The room had a large bath and shower and very comfortable bed. A great stay

We had such a wonderful vacation and stay at the hotel. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, makes you feel you are at home. The food is super , it deserves every star. The planning for my restaurants reservation and ski schedule was all perfectly set prior to my arrival

We had a fantastic stay at Flocons de Sel. We have nothing but great reviews. The Superior room is spacious and has a beautiful chalet-like design. The bed is comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was strong (not always available even at 5-star hotels). The fireplace is a great add to the room and wood was always refilled when the room was cleaned. The lobby area, which was just outside our room, is spacious, beautifully decorated. and a great place to have pre- and post-dinner drinks next to a big fireplace. The lobby area felt like a living room extension to our room. Quality of the food and the service at the restaurant is also great. We were even able to get room service one night and eat it in the lobby area which also has tables. It felt like a private a dinner experience. The indoor pool is a great place to relax after a day of skiing. The pool has a comfortable water temperature and convenient underground access from the main hotel lobby. You don’t have to step outside in the cold to get to the pool from your room. While the hotel is located outside of Megeve village (5-10min drive), it made our stay feel more like an alpine and relaxing experience. The hotel also offers shuttle to/from Megeve downtown (in a nice Audi Quattro e-tron) which is a very convenient service for going to dinner in town. Finally, the hotel staff was professional, very friendly and helpful. We had everything taken care of (ski passes, ski rentals, dinner reservations in town, etc.). With only 6 rooms in the hotel, there are more staff than guests in the hotel. It truly felt like we were special guests. Overall, the quality of our stay was excellent. We would definitely come back!
