However, we would like to clarify a few important points for the benefit of future guests.All of our rooms are strictly non-smoking, a policy clearly stated during booking, confirmed again at check-in when you signed our registration form, and displayed on large signs in both English and Chinese inside the room. This policy exists to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests.Despite this, smoking took place in your room, and unfortunately, cigarette waste was left on the floor and around the room, which required extra deep cleaning. As per our signed policy, the standard non-smoking violation fee of $150 was applied.We also wish to address your comment regarding our staff. Our team members acted professionally and consistently in line with hotel policy; they are trained to enforce our standards respectfully and equally for all guests.We appreciate your understanding and hope this provides clarity for others reading your review.Kind regards,Management
