Craig and Paul are amazing hosts, we felt weary welcome and looked after. Dinner was incredible and we would highly recommend it! The view is stunning. We will definitely be back!

Everything was top notch, the hosts Craig and Paul are very welcoming The room was spotless, comfortable bed and pillows, the bathroom is spacious and clean The views are incredible and the food is 5 stars, fine dining quality Absolutely loved our stay and so did our dogs. We will definitely be back

Absolutely loved it! Felt a sense of beautiful peace as soon as we arrived. The food is spectacular and the hosts are so warming and welcoming.

This place just gets better and better. We love our stays here in the peaceful pet friendly cottage with the comfy bed and decks looking out over the valleys to Mt Warning/ Wollumbin and the Cougals. . The views never fail to impress and we can even bring our well behaved Labrador with us for a romp with their Labs, totally relax and know that we will be looked to perfection by the wonderful Craig and Paul. Breakfast and dinners eaten on the verandah of the main house are superb, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while marvelling at the views over the caldera with cooling breezes on a hot days. A drive and lunch at Tyalgum just down the road and then a swim in the lovely pool topped off our perfect stay. Highly recommended, thanks once again guys.

What an amazing couple of nights away! What sets this place apart is the ultimate combination of amazing location, incredible hosts and a real touch of luxury! The location is fantastic - serenity with a town centre only 10 mins down the road . The views and feel of the whole place is amazing. We stayed in the Mt Warning room. It was well appointed with everything you need - loved the spa bath . The hosts - Paul and Craig are incredible. Warm and inviting and nothing is too much trouble . The meals rival those of a 5 star restaurant - incredible. We will be back , thanks for a wonderful stay ( Rob and Fi Kemp)

After the husband was flat out with deadlines, we decided to take a break from the everyday and recharge. This was our second visit to Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat, and we can definitely say it just keeps getting better. Paul was there to greet us and looked after us so well. The weather was great for a night on the hill, rain, mist, storms, just wonderful and perfect red wine weather. Dinner was fabulous as usual, and we found ourselves unwinding by the minute. My biggest treat were the girls greeting us in the morning with their big handsome leader (pic below). This place is just so relaxing and peaceful, and we will certainly be back. Thanks again guys.

A very special country retreat. Craig and Paul made us feel so welcome. The house and room very comfortable, and the food delicious. The grounds were spot on and the veiws from the verandah and pool were spectacular.

We had an overnight stay at this countryside B&B very comfortable accomodation and very welcoming hosts Paul &Craig . Great brekky next day before doing the Muwillumbah Rail Trail which was Epic . Will certainly be back one day for a longer stay .

This one of the best places we have escaped to on our road trips. Location and outlook superb, accommodation is top notch and saved the best to last. Hosts Paul and Craig are genuinely the best and most caring hosts for which you could hope. Always helpful and happy to boot! Special mention to the food…. Just excellent!

What a wonderful place and like the heading said the views are magnificent and you could really imagine yourself in Italy. Paul & Craig were the best hosts so helpful with any request. The room was beautiful with magic views and comfortable outdoor furnishings everything was just perfect. We had dinner the night we stayed and it was delicious as was the breakfast the next morning. Lots to do and see around that part of the world from, walks to rainforest, beaches close by, food/drink, my favorite place Tweed River Art Gallery and the Margaret Olley reconstruction of her house in Sydney. Thanks Paul & Craig for letting us experience the magic setting you have established for all to enjoy. Oops cannot forget to mention those gorgeous happy labs what characters they are! Andrew & Cindy
