Fantastic. Beautiful grounds, nice spacious cabin with small kitchenette. Great restaurant on site for breakfast. Good location in Boquete. Staff was helpful.

This hotel is so close to many amenities in town, only a 5 minute walk! And on the grounds there is a well rated, cute coffee shop as well! The rooms like yurts are very spacious and had a loft and kitchen! It fit our family of 4 very well. We had some initial issues with our hot water but they took care of the issue quickly. The staff were wonderful and friendly as well. And the grounds were very well maintained. Even when it was raining outside, they were out there landscaping! We also especially loved and appreciated the laundry service after a long day of whitewater rafting!

We loved our peaceful stay here. It’s clear that the volunteers really care about guest experience - especially Nicole. Christian was also very helpful and kind throughout our stay - an invaluable asset to the hotel. Be warned that if mobility is an issue, you should not stay here as the cabins are hundreds of stairs from the restaurant. But you are rewarded with beautiful views of the lake - which, in our view, was worth it. Dinner was 150q per night, but it was an amazing three course meal - very worth it! There is free coffee and tea and the coffee was the best we have had on our trip so far in Guatemala. I would definitely stay here again!

A lot of stairs to the rooms. No A/C, no screens on the doors so you have to close the doors and gets a little hot. Beautiful scenery of the lake from the rooms. Birds singing in the morning. Cafeteria is facing the lake. Beautiful

After one month in Bocas del Toro, we needed a change in scenery. We opted for a trip to the mountains for a different Panamanian experience. Isla Verde consists of a number of distinctly different "roundhouses" scattered over a beautifully landscaped property that is centrally located in Boquete. Our hostesses, Patricia and Ulrike, were gracious and welcoming. Patricia went out of her way to explain all the offerings and conveniences available . There is a spa on site, as well as beautiful plantings and statuary. Mango, the onside restaurant, was superlative. Service was impeccable and the food was beyond delicious! The property is very centrally located. So, no car is required and a taxi would only be needed if you wanted to go further afield. The property is close to a number of adventure excursion outlets....literally around the corner. So, if you wanted to visit Volcan Baru, or do a trek or zip line tour you merely need to walk down the street . Besides, Patricia or Ulrike will gladly assist you in planning whatever excursion you desired. Great stay!

We spent three nights at Isla Verde in Mariposa, an upper suite. It was beautiful, and so hard to leave when our stay was over. The suite itself was great, kind of like a big studio apartment with windows everywhere. There was a small kitchen with a fridge, an oven, and a coffee maker, and a nice dining table to sit at. The bathroom was pristine. The bed was comfortable. There was a fan but no AC, but it got very cool at night and we didn't even need the fan. We had a porch in the front of the suite and a beautiful balcony off the back that overlooked the gardens and the little river that goes through the property. We spent hours on the balcony with a cool drink, just listening to the river, enjoying the gardens, and watching the birds. What is amazing is that Isla Verde is very close to town (only a couple of blocks to the main drag) but you would never know it. The river blocks any street noise, which is minimal in Boquete anyway. The staff were great, and Sabine was very helpful and friendly. We had a hard time figuring out how to book our domestic flights online, so she booked them for us (even though we asked her very last-minute!) at no charge. She also gave us some good directions and information on things to do in the area. We never had breakfast at Isla Verde, so I can't comment on that. We ate at Cafe Punto de Encuentro, which was great. Boquete is great and I highly recommend Isla Verde!

We had a wonderful stay here. The property is great and the restaurant has great food and drinks and an excellent vibe. Everyone working there was extremely friendly. We really enjoyed our tome here. If you want a friendly stay at a boutique spot, highly recommend.
