  • Guest：Delicious breakfast (loved the maple marscapone with berries and the egg soufflé), attention given to every detail (chocolates in the room, homemade cookies out in the dining room are just two examples among many). The hosts were welcoming and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay very much.
  • Guest：We stayed a few days at The Governor's Inn in Oct., 2024. My wife and I can't say enough great things about the Inn and the hospitality extended to us by hosts, Holger and Rosie. The Inn was immaculate, comfortable, and so relaxing. The breakfasts were exceptional and each morning brought a pleasant surprise on the menu. It's truly a great place to just unplug and capture the Fall in Vermont at its best. Each day's activity presented a new adventure. Experiencing Ludlow and the nearby towns offered many shops to visit, places to sight see, and convenient restaurants to enjoy! Often with an added benefit within walking distance. We're already looking at the calendar to book our next stay!!
  • Guest：Compared to other accommodations in the area, we found this to be by far one of the nicest places we stayed from start to finish. The place is immaculate, the room is not missing a thing ( from little touches like chocolates and a mini frig that was full of complimentary water and sodas), breakfasts were fresh and excellent, the inn keepers were beyond lovely and accommodating, bed was comfortable, linens and towels were nice quality and inn price point is fair. You can easily walk to the town and restaurants. There were just so many lovely added touches that most would not be disappointed. We will definitely return! Thank you Holger and Rosie!
  • Guest：What a beautiful B&B, the inn keepers are a perfect match for this B&B. Holger and Rosie couldn't have been nicer. The decor in every room was painstakingly done with the utmost of care and detail to provide a beautiful setting for all their guests. Rosie has a very special talent decorating this B&B to ensure everything is perfect. Holger constantly gives his wife credit for all the decorations and decor. The breakfasts, settings and service by Rosie and Holger were perfect adding to perfection and detail to every aspect of this inn. Pastries, coffee and tea are available almost 24hrs a day. There is nothing one could want while here, they will do anything possible to make your stay the best. The only thing that could be done is to provide handicapped parking alongside the inn, especially during the winter months.
