Highly recommended!! We had a lovely stay in this beautifully restored 300 year old building. The pictures don’t do justice to the quality of the renovation and the ambience in the place….id definitely stay here again, made all the easier by Rose’s help, and a super comfortable bed!! Some tips 1. We got there via catermeran from Split, put our luggage in the left luggage place in Hvar port and spend a few hours in Hvar, then caught the 430pm bus to stari grad for a few euros. It worked out really well 2. The bus stop to Hvar and stari grad ferry is 3 mins from the town house…no dragging your bags through town 3. We left back to split via the ferry from stari grad. The busses are timed to the ferry so was easy to jump on the bus and onto ferry. Ferry is much cheaper (6e) and took 2 hours. We liked it being able to go on deck and be on a much bigger boat. 4. Stari Grad is quite small but really picturesque, we were only there two nights, there is a nice walk or run around the harbour, heading out to the left of the harbour is a large swimming area and bar (no food!!) 5. We had a great pizza at Roco’s. Coffee next door with croissants from local bakery was great. 6. Bike hire is everywhere and really easy flat riding available

La maison est composée de cinq chambres spacieuses avec une salle d’eau privative. Tout est rénové avec go?t, aucune fausse note. La salle d’eau est superbe. Le lieu est véritablement magnifique, tout en pierres apparentes. Les chambres sont équipées de la climatisation, un petit frigo, un coffre fort et d’une penderie. Le lit est très grand avec un confort haut de gamme. Au Rez de chaussée il y a un petit coin cuisine pour y faire son petit déjeuner, il y’a l’essentiel. En entrant il y a une petite coure magnifique. Nous avons été formidablement accueillis malgré la barrière de la langue, notre anglais étant très moyen. L’anglais est parlée partout en Croatie. A notre disposition il y avait un book avec plein d’information et de conseils très très utiles. Pour se garer, notre h?te disposait d’un terrain privatif à une cinquantaine de mètres de la location. Stari Grad est un très beau village qui vaut le détour loin de l’agitation de Hvar même si la ville de Hvar est magnifique et à faire absolument. Nous avons passé un excellent moment et nous recommandons vivement cet endroit!

Uma surpresa agradável quando chegamos no hotel. Super charmoso, estilo castelo de pedras, e muito bem decorado. N?o tem elevador e tem escadas. Ficamos no quarto 4 no 2o andar, com ótima cama, ótimos travesseiros e um banheiro bom. Muito aconchegante e romantico. No térreo tem uma mini cozinha com frigobar, gelo, chaleira, chás diversos, copos, ta?as, talheres, a?úcar, ado?ante, e fruta na geladeira. Fomos muito bem recebidos e é nítido o cuidado de preserva??o com o lugar. O mais interessante é que fomos em 3 casais e o último andar tem uma quarto modelo flat com sofá, cozinha, fog?o elétrico, máquina de lavar lou?a, geladeira, utensílios de cozinha, panelas, copos, ta?as, pratos, etc tudo para se fazer refei??es confortavelmente. O que nos quartos n?o é possível por falta de espa?o.
