Mas de Vence isn’t so much a hotel as it feels like visiting treasured family members who happen to live in a glorious place. We stumbled in after 2 failed VRBO experiences, and were happy to be able to book 5 nights. The staff is clearly family, kind, and attentive. It is not a luxury property, but it is comfortable, very clean, has excellent food, a lovely pool and is supremely well located and priced. You walk through a magical terraced garden to get into the walls of Vence, which is an experience not to be missed. I would happily return.

Séjour fort agréable.
Séjour agréable suite à l'accueil très sympathique suite au retard du bateau revenant de Corse. Cadre très attachant et bon confort. Dommage du bruit de l'air conditionné. Excellente terrasse près d'une belle piscine. Personnel très attentif aux clients.

Abbiamo dormito qui solo per una notte e devo dire che per un soggiorno breve l'hotel va benissimo, perché permette di arrivare e andarsene velocemente, visto che dispone di un parcheggio privato interno ed è sulla strada principale per Nizza. La posizione è buona anche per salire a piedi verso il centro storico, con una camminata che consente di immergersi piano piano nel clima della cittadina, ma di poter poi dormire la notte senza essere disturbati dalla folla di turisti che assediano Vence in estate. Non abbiamo avuto il tempo per goderci la piscina e non abbiamo provato il ristorante (forse avremmo fatto meglio, visto la sfinente ricerca in un affollatissimo "sabato del villaggio" in centro storico), quindi la nostra valutazione è solo per la camera, che si è rivelata spaziosa e comoda, con armadio e aria condizionata a disposizione, un bagno grande e pulito, un piccolo terrazzo da cui vedere il tramonto sulle colline (o l'alba, se si è mattinieri). Certo, l'albergo è un po' ...agé, avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata, dà l'impressione di aver avuto giorni migliori e non ha molto fascino, ma è senz'altro funzionale e poi il proprietario è persona estremamente gentile e disponibile, ci ha dato buoni suggerimenti e informazioni. E parla bene l'italiano!

This hotel, perfectly situated for a visit to Vence or St. Paul, is extremely well maintained. Convenient parking by the hotel front door. The staff couldn't be more attentive. The fig and olive trees in the remaining adjacent farm add to the atmosphere.

Stayed 5days days here and enjoyed every moment. Good food ,comfortable room and attentive owners and staff. Convenient to the historic center of Vence with the additional comfort of an outdoor pool for those very hot days!!

Stayed here for 7 nights and had a very enjoyable experience. Hotel is perfectly situated for Vence and it’s numerous restaurants and the bus service to Nice is excellent. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff were excellent. The outside swimming pool was lovely. The bed was big and comfortable and the room was clean. Will definitely return!
