Great rooms, tasty food, amazing host calming view, close to the main market with apt distance so that you are away from the noise, close to the paragliding spot, great sunset point on the roof. all and all must visit stay ＜3

The stay at himaal was just amazing, we in-fact extended our stay there. Would highly recommend this property to stay. Just one drawback is that the heater provided was not at all good for the chilling winters in bir so that could be improved and in place of small coil heaters you can provide oil heater which keeps the room warm. Apart from this everything was perfect and the staff was wonderful and also the food was just amazing.

this is best ever place i have seen on the earth have statyed many places in world but in so much home stay bhuvan and his family have done a great managment and things have placed in all proper way .. never expected in bir so far away from cities have manged to make the himaal shine from beauty nature and evryting ... bhuvan owner is a gem of a person .. food quality superb no words to express, best part pure veg ... in cleaniess and all 5 stars also less to say them .. no rating required for this property just go blind ull love it .. when the day il be tired of my city life wil surely come to this place again for months ..bhuvan his family and his whole the himaal team thank you ..

I stayed at The Himaal in November, and it was truly a peaceful and memorable experience. Nestled amidst the mountains of Bir, this place is perfect if you’re looking to slow down, breathe fresh Himalayan air, and enjoy quiet moments away from city life. The views are stunning, especially in winter, and the atmosphere is calm and grounding. Hosts Bhuva and Sharmila are incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming. Their hospitality makes this place special—you feel genuinely cared for, not just hosted. Conversations with them, their guidance, and their warmth made the stay feel like home. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, ideal for the cold November weather. Mornings were serene, evenings were peaceful, and nights were deeply restful. The home-cooked food deserves a special mention—simple, fresh, and delicious, prepared with love. If you’re looking for: ? A quiet Himalayan escape ? Authentic homestay vibes ? Absolutely loved our stay at The Himaal, Bir. The property is tastefully decorated with every corner reflecting elegance and warmth. The room was aesthetic & very well maintained and clean, giving a calm and homely vibe. The food was amazing one of the best we had, and the hospitality was outstanding—gracious. The location is excellent, very close to the paragliding landing site in Bir and conveniently near many popular cafés and restaurants. Also the view from the room balcony and the property’s rooftop is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you Bhuvan - Sharmila and the whole team for being such a wonderful hosts. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, style, and a homely experience in Bir. ?????

I had such a wonderful time at the hotel! The food was really tasty, and the staff were some of the kindest people I’ve met always helpful, cheerful, and ready to assist. It felt like they genuinely cared about making guests feel comfortable. The overall vibe was warm and welcoming, and the attention to detail made the experience even better. The himaal provides you with sustainable and luxurious stay. I will highly recommend it. I really enjoyed my time over there. The sunset view at himaal is serene. It felt like another home in bir.

We stayed at The Himaal Homestay for 2 days to celebrate our anniversary, and it was even more beautiful than I imagined. Pictures don’t do justice to how cozy and peaceful this place feels in person. Loved everything — the room, the cleanliness, the terrace view, and especially their in-house food (better than most cafes outside!). The location is perfect too, just a short walk from the landing site and market. Sharmila and Bhuvan, ***** with their staff, made sure we felt completely at home. Every corner of the homestay is filled with thoughtful little details and decor that make it feel warm and personal. Honestly, this is one of the finest properties I’ve stayed at — truly an 11/10 experience. Will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family ??

Me and family had a wonderful time at himaal. Great staff, food and service. Rooms were beautiful with great views and all the facilities that one expects from a 5 star hotel. I was personally impressed to see sanitary pad in the washroom and that too bio degradable one. We also enjoyed the free breakfast which had many options and best part was everything was freshly cooked and served to us on the table. Such a nice change from buffets. We also spent quality time enjoying sunset from their rooftop. Also must try their Himachali Thali, siddu and Momos. Specially the cheese mushroom momos. We also liked the fact all other cafes were also at a walking distance so just park your car and walk to explore Bir. Kudos to bhuvan ji and sharmila ji for creating this dreamy house in the mountains and sharing it with people like us. We are stuck in our city life but thankfully we can always come to Himaal and leave our busy life behind for a few days and enjoy mountains and nature with a great stay. Thank you for the beautiful memories and we will be definitely coming back soon and will be sending many of our friends to experience this dream home in the mountains.
