Lovely clean guest house with fantastic views and easy access to Ludlow. Very comfortable room with use of a lounge. Extensive choice at breakfast and Ray was a friendly host who was on hand if needed. We will definitely be returning for another stay soon. Would highly recommend the Mount.

In my opinion this guest house gives fantastic value for money. It's an easy walk into Ludlow (not as steep as the name suggests!) yet the area is very quiet and has fantastic views. The bedrooms were extremely clean, comfortable and spacious and the owners have made sure to include lots of little extras which we appreciated (hairdryer, tea/ coffee making facilities with decent sized mugs, a little folding table, tissues etc.) The breakfasts were amazing and the owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful without being intrusive. For us the best feature of all was the guest lounge, which meant that ourselves and the other two couples that we were visiting Ludlow with could meet in comfort for a drink and a chat, enjoying the lovely views. This room also has a full bookcase and a few games for you to borrow if you want to.

We arrived on our bikes and had a lovely stay here. We had a room with the most beautiful views and comfy bed. Ray was a very friendly and welcoming host. Our cooked breakfast was excellent and so was the healthy fresh fruit salad . We would recommend this Guest house to anyone visiting Ludlow.

A great little bnb close to all amenities and with parking. The rooms are clean and well appointed with all you need inc a silent fridge.Ray was most attentive and helpful and the local produce at breakfast was spot on. Would definitely recommend staying here if your visiting the area.

I'm so glad we stayed at this B&B. Ray, the owner, was so helpful and welcoming. The room (Room 5) was very clean with smart TV, silent fridge supplied with fresh milk & water, tea making facilities, king size bed was comfy. We also had the use of an adjoining private lounge with TV, fridge & tea making facilities. The cooked breakfasts were great & very tasty using local produce. The views from the bedroom window are shown below. This was our first time visiting Ludlow and glad that we came across The Mount - would definitely recommend it & wouldn't hesitate in staying here again! Thank you Ray for making our stay so enjoyable.

A good place to stay with parking and easy walking distance to the old town.

We stayed for two nights at the Mount. Ray and his wife made our stay a pleasure. The room was warm and comfortable, especially the bed. Water and milk provided in the room ample tea and coffee provided Breakfast did not disappoint, well prepared and taken in a room that has a great view of the Shropshire hills. Ray has a wealth of local knowledge and provides information on good places to eat,and walks in the area. Will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Ludlow. Graham and Claire.

Fantastic B&B
Just back from a great stay at The Mount. Rays a great host and gave us some great recommendations for places to visit in Ludlow. Our room was lovely & clean room and we thoroughly enjoyed the great breakfast. We loved Ludlow and will definitely come back to stay at the Mount.

Totally superb B&B from start to finish. Ray was a wonderfully accommodating host, and super supportive, (we were attending a family funeral). The rooms were immaculate, spotless, comfortable and warm. Everything was thought through, down to water and milk in the fridge. On top of this the breakfast was all delicious, best I've had in a long time, it passed our rigorous "Sausage Test" and consequently we awarded it 5 stars! Thanks Ray, we will definitely recommend you! Guy, Rachel & Ben xxx

Spent two nights in a twin room with private lounge. The latter proved to be a Godsend as we were there during storm Darragh. As we did not want to venture out into town the second night we bought food to eat in. Ray the owner who is very pleasant and accommodating provided cutlery, plates and condiments for us to use. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts and tried the smoked salmon/scrambled eggs, full English and vegetarian options. All beautifully cooked and tasty. The property is in easy walking distance of the town, railway station, brewery, Tesco & Aldi. We will definitely return.
