Unfortunately we weren’t able to stay here due to a medical family emergency but the management was very supportive and understanding to cancel our booking without any charge. Will definitely be visiting soon and looking forward to having a peaceful stay here :) Cheers to the kind people of Nepal ??

My wife and I had an incredible time at ES Deurali. We stayed for 5 nights in December and we stayed in the Annapurna room (505) which we believe had the best view of all the rooms. Pasang and Milan were extremely hospitable and they took care of each and every requirement. Pasang arranged an airport pickup for us at a nominal price and this was very helpful as ES Deurali is off the beaten path. Speaking about the property, you will be hard-pressed to find a better location even if you paid through your teeth. The hotel is located in a quaint village on the outskirts of Kaskikot village. The property is on a hilltop which overlooks the entire Annapurna range and the mountains literally loom over you. The spot where you hang out and have your breakfast is sublime, you can see the entire mountain range lit up during sunrise and sunset without any obstacle. The property is spread out over a few acres of lush greenery and it is paradise for bird watchers. There is also a walking trail nearby which leads to an amazing view spot. The skies from the property at night are unbelievable as the property is far away from any light pollution. So much so that I was up at 5 AM every morning just to soak in the views of the starry skies and the sunrise from the sit out area. Speaking of the hospitality, there was no hesitation at all from either Pasang, Milan or anyone else on the property. There were nights where we were alone in the property and I asked Milan to switch off all lights to click some images of the starry skies and he did so without skipping a beat. The breakfast here is also good and once they found out that we really liked the sausages, they brought an extra serving for us without us asking for it. They truly treat you like family. We had rented a bike from someone at Pokhara and one morning it refused to start. Milan personally came down, called a mechanic, then called another mechanic when the first one was unable to help, stood there the entire time till the bike was fixed. I cannot speak highly enough of how well we were treated by the ES Deurali team. We had planned to spend a few days in the Pokhara city at the end of our trip and while we were checking out, we had initially planned on getting a taxi to take our luggage while we would follow the taxi on our bike but on the day Pasang very graciously told us that he was heading to the city and would be happy to drop our bags off at the hotel on his way to the city. If this is not 5 star service, then I don't know what is. I have traveled quite a bit and wherever I have traveled I have stayed at good hotels, either for its view/ location or for the reviews of good services but in all of my travels, I have not come across a hotel that ticks every box. For me ES Deurali is one of the best places to stay and I would highly urge you all to give this place a chance and let it blow you away. I had a great experience at Es Deurali Resort. The view from this resort is absolutely magical—hands down the best view you can get from a stay in the entire Pokhara area. Waking up to such stunning scenery made the trip extra special. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind throughout my stay. A special thanks to Pasang bhaiya, who made my first trip to Nepal truly memorable with his warmth and hospitality. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Pokhara.

Padang Sherpa was an exceptional host kind, friendly, and always ready to help. The place offers breathtaking mountain views and feels incredibly private and cozy. We were lucky enough to experience stargazing at night, which was truly magical. I would highly recommend this stay, and Padang Sherpa is truly the best!

You come to ES Deurali for three main reasons: 1. Unparalleled views of the Annapurna Range morning noon and night 2. True family hospitality and home cooked meals worthy of any restaurant in Pokhara 3. Quiet idyllic village in the countryside away from the noise , traffic and smog in the city. If you want a four-star sterile western-style resort, go somewhere else. If you want a true Nepali/Sherpa family experience, this is your place. Our adult children are already planning their own trips back!

Adding ES Deurali Resort to our trip was one of the best decisions we made. Perched atop a peaceful mountain, the resort offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna Range—even from the rooms—making it feel like a true hidden gem. The property itself is warm and inviting, with open spaces, gardens, and seating areas that encourage you to slow down and truly soak in the surroundings. It’s a family-run resort, and that personal touch is felt in every detail—from the care taken in maintaining the property to the genuine hospitality of the hosts. My absolute favourite place was the dining hall, which quickly became the heart of our stay. With its cosy ambience and panoramic mountain views, it was the perfect place to enjoy their delicious home-cooked meals while taking in the serene beauty around us. Every meal felt special there. Traveling with our 3-year-old daughter was completely stress-free. She loves to explore every corner and talk to everyone, and the hosts made us feel completely at ease. They helped us with transportation, sightseeing, and thoughtfully recommended places to visit, which was incredibly helpful since it was our first time in Nepal. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Overall, our stay at ES Deurali Resort was memorable, relaxing, and truly one of the highlights of our trip.

We had a two night stay here, which was memorable. The annapurna ranges are very nearby and we witnessed magnficent sunrise and sunset views. Pasang Sherpa was super helpful to accomodate our requests. We got to hear a lot of interesting stories from Mr. Sonam Sherpa about his experiences (he climbed everest two times, and many other peaks as well). The rooms are pretty modern with amenities for a hilly area. We got mountain view, there were room heaters, the bed had heater mattress, and hot water facility was 24×7. Only caveat was we had to climb a good number of steps from parking area, but there is another comfortable walking route which we discovered later and is recommended to reach the resort. The breakfast and the overall food quality was super! Highly recommended. Will visit again!

This resort is amazing. The view from this resort is surreal. The owner and staffs are very polite and friendly. They helped us so much beyond our expectations. Overall, their food and service are excellent.

We stayed for 3 nights here during our visit to Nepal. We loved it so much. The sunrise and the sunset view from the resort was just super stunning. Friendly owners and great staffs. We will definitely be back again in near future. Will be recommending this to our friends and family. Can't wait to be back.
