Great place to stay, made even better with the newly refurbished bathrooms in some rooms!

We would stay again which in reality answers my question on how was the hotel. We did have breakfast, which was served to us. Choosing a croissant with jam and marmalade did take its time to arrive, however the lady serving us did keep us informed. The fruit platter was beautifully presented. We did have dinner in the bar which was excellent and just the right amount. The bedroom across the courtyard was adequate with all the appropriate trimmings - tea, coffee, biscuits , shower etc. The only thing was the TV remote did not work. We did ask at reception for new batteries but was told it was the remote and that they did not have a new one to give us. During the night the side lights decided to blow up, which caused a smell and us to unplug everything. It did not bother us as we were tired we did inform reception. Saying all that everything was clean and every one polite, with excellent food..

Comfortable bed, good shower, tea & coffee making facilities Room was cold about 3/4am but we found a blanket in the cupboard

The room was spotless, the hotel facilities were excellent and the staff were all extremely courteous.

The staff were great, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. The rooms are larger than average and kept to a high standard. Overall a great place to stay

Very friendly staff. Large clean room. Very good evening meal. Duck cooked how we like it and very tasty well cooked pork. Would happily return.

Very clean room, fresh sheets, towels, bathroom floor very clean! Room was very quiet , heating could be adjusted! Reception staff was very welcoming, breakfast amazing!
