Guest：Been staying at The Belfry for our annual little get away for the past five years and once again, The Belfry never fails to deliver with a beautiful relaxing setting. The Belfry is stylish in its decoration yet homely. The facilities are extremely clean, and the rooms offer just what you need for your time away in Whitby. The breakfast is just delicious and the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. If The Belfry is booked up, I rearrange my dates to make sure I can book in as I won't book anywhere else because it just wouldn't be the same staying anywhere else. I recommend staying Friday to Monday if your going for the weekend because Whitby and the surrounding areas have so much to offer.

Guest：Fantastic place, beautiful inside with everything you could possibly need. Really friendly and Phil and Sophie could not have been more welcoming. Rooms were comfortable and cozy, very clean. At night it was lovely and quiet and peaceful in day. Within walking distance to the whale bones and the town it was a great place to stay and will definitely go back.
Guest：The weather was kind, Whitby was as special as always, so finding the perfect b&b was the icing on the cake! We have stopped at the Belfry several times now and it never disappoints! We always arrive early, to make the most of the day. Although there is a check-in time, Phil & Sophie make sure there is a parking permit available, a great help in Whitby! After a day of eating, wandering and eating some more, our room was a very welcoming place to relax & unwind. It was large and very comfortable, nice & warm, with plenty of hot water. The bed & bedding were great and of good quality! A nice selection of Tea & coffee (and biscuits) are left in the room for you. Breakfast is exceptional, with plenty of choice, various cereals, fruit, natural yoghurt, etc etc. The full English was very generous, as well as well cooked! I had poached eggs on toast both mornings, but did help my wife eat her full English… ample toast, tea and/or coffee. Each morning there is a special on as well. Friday, it was smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, Saturdays was pancakes, with various different toppings. The staff are very attentive and very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble It is very hard to find fault with The Belfry, apart from the time going far too quickly! We will be back as soon as we can.
