Perfect location, central but quiet. Lovely staff, breakfast, rooftop pool bar and room!

Loved everything about this hotel:
great staff, interesting layout and rooms, super quiet location, dramatic rooftop deck and we really appreciated the assistance of Patricia on the desk! We had a sudden need for a hotel for two nights and couldn’t be happier we found this one.

Das Hotel liegt unweit der belebten Fu?g?ngerzone, jedoch gleichzeitig sehr ruhig.
Es muss einem bewusst sein, dass viele Zimmer nur Fenster in die Innenh?fe haben. Es roch muffelig im Zimmer, jedoch bekommt man das mit genug lüften in den Griff.

C'è stato un disguido sulla prenotazione. Avevo prenotato una stanza per 4 persone, avendo dei bambini, ma al mio arrivo non c'era. Me ne avevano riservate due tra loro comunicanti, ma ad un prezzo molto più alto. Dopo una telefonata al management la situazione è stata risolta brillantemente. Ci hanno dato le due camere comunicanti al prezzo pattuito con la prenotazione. Siamo quindi stati trattati meglio di come ci aspettavamo. Colazione ottima ed abbondante.

Very central to valletta for shoping, histotrical sites and going on excursions was very convenient. Really suited me a lone traveller. Stayed 4 nights but wish I could be there longer.

We were very impressed how professional, helpful, courteous and friendly the staff are.
The hotel itself was spotless, there wasn't one area that was not up to a high standard.
Our bedroom, while not the biggest, was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, terrific shower and in-room tea & coffee were supplied daily as were fresh towels.
The breakfast was included and it was excellent. A wide range of food, hot drinks and fruit juices were on offer.
The hotel has a rooftop bar, sun bathing area and a small pool. Its a great suntrap up there.
The hotel is situated at the heart of Valletta. It is a 10min walk from most of the major attractions, restaurants and bars in rhe city centre. The only thing I would tell people to consider is that to walk from the hotel to the main area in Valletta is up a steep hill.If you are a little infirm or unsteady walking uphill, this hotel may not be for you but my wife and I are in our 60s and managed it easily.
Taking everything into consideration, I would highly recommend The San Karlu for a stay in Malta.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the San Karlu Hotel. The building itself was in a fantastic location, easily accessible to sights and restaurants, and moreover characterful and kept spotlessly clean. Well appointed room and the breakfast was outstanding. Last but not least, all the team of staff were friendly and welcoming - thank you! We hope to return!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. T?glich saubere Handtücher sowie frisches Wasser
Die Zimmer sind ger?umig und das Frühstück war ausreichend.
Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral und vieles ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Stadt Valletta ist in ca. 5-10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar

Fantastic small hotel, away from the crowds but well within easy reach of everything Valetta has to offer.
Rooms were modern, well appointed, spotless with 5* amenities. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good/just what was needed.
We had a studio with balcony and hot tub...but the room was small and certainly not a studio. My parents double room was probably more spacious. This is why I have only given 4 stars instead of 5 stars.
Careful if you use the car service for pickup...we were late to request this and the car that collected us must have been the oldest, dirtiest car Valetta had to offer! BOLT/UBER is easy and a safer and more reasonably priced bet.

Nous avons eu une belle et grande chambre avec balcon, proche du toit terrasse avec (petite) piscine donnant sur les immeubles typiques de La Vallette.
Les personnes à l'accueil ont été très agréables, on a apprécié le verre offert à prendre au bar de la terrasse. Petit déjeuner compris dans le prix, très bien. Bonne situation, au calme. Bref, nous recommandons cet h?tel.
