Guest：The staff were excellent.. they went out of the way to make us feel comfortable during our stay. The food was decent. The game view was fantastic. Please check if the price of the game drive is included in the booking price or not. More animal on the safari would have made the effort worthy. Also don’t follow Google maps to reach this place. Esp if you are coming from R62. Check with the hotel for the correct directions.

Guest：Wildehondekloof Private Game Reserve is one of those places on your bucket list you must visit. The African atmosphere you will experience will stay with you forever. Great accommodation with wildlife walking in front of your chalets, a river flowing all year and lots of birds. Great mountainbike routes to cycle on and Great hiking trails to hike. Lots of Game to see and beautiful views over thr Swartberg Mountains while you hike or cycle. Paula and Pottie are hands on and their staff is very helpful and always ready to assist. We love every moment and will be back soon.

In the foothills of the majestic Swartberg Mountains, this is the perfect place to leave reality behind and enjoy a surreal and tranquil breakaway in nature. The kids (aged 8 and 11) loved being out in this raw piece of earth. Antelope and buck roam around freely ; plenty of wild life to see on game drives; a lovely piece of grass for games and running around; and a pool where you can swim your morning laps (25m long) before the kids take over! The rooms are spacious and luxurious; superb hospitality and staff; great food and a full bar… We hope to return soon!
