The room was fantastic! Very clean. The dinner as delicious- Compliments to the chef and team! The staff at The Kings Arms really are so friendly, professional and hardworking. You can tell they are a happy, close team and this made our stay so much more enjoyable. Well done to everyone 5 stars!!!!

Our room was spotless, the facilities were good and it was warm and cosy on a cold January day. Nice little touches throughout and a high quality breakfast - just one thing, how about a packet of biscuits to supplement the tea/coffee?

This is my fourth visit here. Lovely rooms, friendly staff and great food. Always my first choice accommodation when visiting Royal Holloway, University of London as it's just a short walk away.

Good location and price. Really liked the aesthetic - lots of nice touches throughout the place. Thanks to Ali for the warm welcome and showing us to the room.
Would consider staying again but there are some things to improve:-
Sensor activated bathroom light kept coming on even with the door shut. Bathroom door is effectively see through meaning the bedroom lit up at intervals during the night and there is effectively no privacy.
Extractor fan was on permanently and noisy.
Bathroom is a wet room, but the tiny shower screen does nothing.
Bed was a good firmness but strangely short and pillows were hard.

Some of the lights in the room did not work making the room very dowdy.

Gorgeous room, fell in love with the colours and design! Really lovely pub and food, staff were superb and attentive even when it was busy on our arrival during Sunday lunch. Breakfast was top notch too, and set us up perfectly for our day out to Windsor!

BUT the carpet on the stairs to the room was so shoddy and worn it really did take away from a really nice place

Cute boutique hotel but bathroom very small. No air conditioning. Staff was extremely friendly and made the stay pleasant. Great restaurant downstairs.

Easy trip from Heathrow, great old pub with clean and fun rooms. The pub downstairs had incredible food - dinner and breakfast! Quick drive to Windsor Castle. Incredibly smooth check in/out and they held our luggage for us. We'd love to stay again!

Comfortable spot but not the quietest …
The food has improved since my last stay here (a year of two back). The bed was very comfortable and the standard of the bed linen also impressed.
Good value for money.
Outside noise is the only issue. Busy roads, overhead aircraft issues due to proximity to Heathrow. No a/c means you have to leave the window open…. Enough said
