Short distance from Thirsk, easy to find. Plenty of parking with disabled parking close to the main entrance. Friendly staff. The accessible room we had contained everything we needed. The bedroom was clean and warm, with tea and coffee facilities. The bed was comfortable, and extra pillows were available if required. The bathroom was ideal. There was a good shower with a seat and plenty of handrails. The restaurant, The Thyme, is contsined within the hotel. It is pleasant if basic, and the food was fine and reasonably priced. The staff there were very pleasant and efficient. With all considered, including the price, this hotel easily meets expectations and provided my wife and I with a pleasant stay and we are happy to recommend it. We will no doubt be visiting again.
Premier Inn is our business hotel and can be variable but this one in Thirsk was good. It was clean, the staff were nice and it had easy parking. The only downside was the wifi was terrible.
We started here for two nights while visiting family for Christmas. The hotel was nice and clean and great value for money. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I’d like to particularly commend Casey who was hosting breakfast each morning. Her allergy awareness and actions were excellent meaning our coeliac daughter could eat safely.
Stayed here before and the staff that your deal with on face-face basis are great , the food from the restaurant is fantastic and always served quickly by the great staff. Breakfast is always fresh and hot, and Jamie is always on hand to help and is a credit to the hotel.. BUT , the premier inn management must think it’s a cost saving idea to have all the rooms set to 17’c and non controllable in the rooms . I was not the only one complaining about this daft procedure… guess it may save them a few quid in the long run doesn’t help us paying guests on what is the coldest days of the year …
Aircon failed through the night - the only window was a non-opener.We were not likely to get dressed & call reception to report the problem - I intended to report it at reception the following morning but it was unmanned with the option to just put the room card in a box. We both had headaches & quite frankly just couldn't wait to get out of the building
Amelia & Jay were our servers and they Were amazing,they looked after us very well and came across as very pleasant people and deserve five stars every time.
Very clean, well organised, staff were lovely and very helpful. Megan in particular was great and could not have been nicer - her customer service skills were excellent. We arrived to easy check in with option of electronic or staff check in. Room was spotless, paintwork is fresh, grounds are kept pristine. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, cooked food on hot plate was constantly fresh and of good quality.
We stayed at the premier inn Thirsk to go to the races we enjoyed our stay if only for the one night the staff were friendly the room was fine the meal deal is in our opinion very good value.
We checked ourselves in at the kiosk. The room was a standard Premier Inn room. We only had one set of towels but found someone in the restaurant who gave us another set. Good nights sleep. We didn’t eat there and chose to go into Thirsk for breakfast.
