Guest：La Belle Tortue is a very quiet and small Hotel. The Restaurant was absolutely exceptional.
Guest：This is a difficult rating to write. We did not fully appreciate our stay at La Belle. We travel extensively and do have some experience – almost always good. We are fully aware that we are affected by the fact that our luggage did not arrive the 5 days we spent on Silhouette – and the alternative to shop is very limited. La Belle have amazing reviews and we had high expectations – that was not met. The main advantage with the lodge is the food. Good made-to-order breakfast and good dinner in the evening. Lunches varied in quality – last day lunch felt like an end-of-season leftover. The lodge is just by the beach – but the possibility to swim (water to even knees) is very limited this time a year because of the tide. There are nice beaches possible to swim by Hilton or going over the hills in the opposite direction. But that you had to find out yourself. Room was nice and well-appointed and aircon worked fine. BUT: Management gave us the feeling that guests were more of a burden than a joy – but good for the money. Talking about guests – the lodge only us and one other person staying. That may be a reason why the service was limited. The gear available for free for the guests were in bad condition – leaking snorkel, outworn and broken bath shoes etc. I suggested that they should replace some of the crappiest ones but they were put back again. When I complained they said “but these are for free”. As we did not have any luggage and I could not even find some swim wear on the island – we asked about the possibility to check out 1 day earlier and cancel that last night without cost. That was a blunt no. I understand from a business perspective but not from a customer experience aspect. As we got bored eating almost alone we asked if we could skip one half-board night to eat at Hilton. The initial answer was no but they then came back and changed to a yes. We would have expected to more engagement in helping us to get the luggage. They called the airport once or twice when we asked them but did not seem to care. When we were going to leave the said that we could put our luggage outside the cabin for transfer to the boat – having forgotten that we did not have any luggage. For us this was a place that did not manage to get the details together to give a truly good experience. Not that it is bad but it is not up to standard based on what you pay. We were happy when we left and I assume that the management felt the same.
Guest：Vacation in Paradise. Fantastic small luxury hotel located on a beautiful island. Very exclusive, only a small number of rooms. Fantastic food created by Benjamin the host - French cuisine with local products, and a very nice and interesting wine list. Extremely competent and friendly personnel - we had a very wonderful stay.
Guest：Great experience with island and hotel. Pure nature and silent without any people influence. Great gastronomy, willing staff. Very friendly and small hotel with nice rooms situated directly on the beach. Only not possitive - a lot of mosquitos.
