Nice room and breakfast hamper. But the single bed mattresses needed replaced. The room was too hot even we can’t turn the heater down. We had to opened the window through the night We won’t mind to come back again if the mattress replacement

Just returned from an overnight spa break with my sister for her 40th birthday. Booked a package online for dinner bed breakfast and 1 spa treatment. Had a lovely day, very relaxed atmosphere, delighted to find what appeared to be an upgraded room complete with patio and hot tub, half a bottle of champagne and complementary mini bar, I assume because we were celebrating, it was all lovely and very much appreciated. Had a lovely lunch in the spa restaurant and dinner in the garden restaurant all of which were really great. Couldn’t fault the service. My only slight niggles were I found the pool and spa hot tub a bit cool for my liking. All in all lovely stay and well priced for what we had. Look forward to a return visit soon.

Our pool temperature is set at 29 degrees for hygiene reasons, with the surrounding air temperature maintained at 30 degrees, which is why the water can feel refreshing. Room was nice n clean a good size there wasn’t a lot not to like I will say tho our room was at the front of the property which looked out onto the road which was noisy at times even with the windows closed.

This was our first time back in over a year since under new management. We had the most lovely breakfast hamper in our room of yogurts , fruit ,museli , fresh milk , honey with tea coffee chocolate & juices. This was so much better for us personally as did not have to rush up to go down to breakfast in the morning giving us a much more relaxed approach to the day ahead . It was replenished if you put your sign on door next morning. I much preferred the layout of the bar area tables & chairs in the pub , and decorated tastefully Halloween . We booked a table in the restaurant for the evening and the food did not disappoint. Both hubby & I had the plentiful rump steak which was cooked on the grill to perfection . A short walk to Runton beach via public footpath from road . Can’t wait to come back loved our stay 10/10 !

Afternoon Tea - this is our second visit to Dormy House. Stunning food, wonderful polite, helpful staff in a beautiful setting. We can't recommend Dormy House enough, it's always a pleasure. Best Afternoon Tea in Oxfordshire

Visited last week with friends for an afternoon tea. Wide choice of large leafed teas to choose from. An unusual display of sandwiches and savoury / sweet baked items. Then warm fresh scones with & without fruit. Then a trolly arrived with macaroons in various flavours. What a beautiful array of deliciousness. Staff very attentive and polite. Beautiful surroundings, sumptuous furnishings and decor. Thoroughly recommend - we try a new venue each year and this has to be the best one in the Cotswolds.

Hotel staff and facilities were good, however I was in room 12, over the entrance and facing the very busy road. The noise/disruption was unpleasant

Excellent boutique hotel, highly recommend staying in the splendid room Food was delicious, staff were very attentive and the spa is wonderful Nothing to fault about this place other than our stay simply wasn’t long enough and we will be back!
