The staff were superb and the location a delight. Just what we needed peace for the body and mind. Would return with our family! Good food although a little limited. Highly recommended!

Wonderful hotel, nice and friendly employees, clean rooms, good food The only disadvantage we can mention is the 2nd bedroom in the family suite. The room at the back of the apartment is too noisy, due to roadtrafic and the kitchen ventilation system, which is next to this room. Kept me awake all night long, really annoying! I asked several times to shut the system down at night.

Mosvold villa is the perfect boutique hotel to spend a lovely time in Sri Lanka! The location is phenomenal with a stunning beach and amazing swimming pool. The rooms, fantastic views and terrasse are they impressive and luxurious. Hospitality is at its best in this boutique hotel. We had fun with friends and family and enjoyed local activities such as cycling, kayaking and surfing. We strongly recommend Mosvold boutique hotel!

Mosvold Villa was one of the highlights of our three week trip to Sri Lanka. We stayed for five nights in the Founders Suite and it was incredible. The views from the room, the service and the food were all incredible. We looked around many of the beaches on the South Coast and actually liked the location of Mosvold more than most places. Being located just north of Ahnagama and at the south end of Kabalama Beach meant that it is on a relatively quiet and private point right next to some of the best surfing spots but close enough to walk or tuk tuk to the shops and other restaurants. We'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Our family of four stayed in Mosvold Villa for three days. We wanted to end our stay in Sri Lanka with three days in a high end, down to earth and privat place. And that is truly what we got at MV. The location is out of this world with great views and on the doorstep to the beach, the ocean, the waves. The villa, the garden, the outdoor area is of very high quality, everything seems new, it is fresh and it is clean. The people working there are the most friendly and most service minded, fixing everything for you without you asking. Being a Norwegian my self, I am used to fix my own things and carry my own luggage, but that was out of the question, and they did it all for us and with a great smile on their faces. It felt natural and helpful without feeling condescending. The breakfast included is overwhelming with lots of fresh fruit and lots of choices, and the lunch and dinner are also of a great choice, and sometimes they have other offers that is not on the menu. We had a great seafood barbecue our last day, that also was fantastic, with lots of fresh local choices that was SO good. I am normally not a fan of buffet and those kind of dinners, because of all the food waste, but the chefs organising the barbecue did a great job making sure they did not cook more that we ate, Well done. The prices in the restaurant is a bit pricy compared to local restaurant, but we can not expect it to be different in such a place. Then there are lot's of choices of great restaurant in Ahangama that I suggest people try too. Staying just in MV for a couple of days is an absolute dream. We are coming back! Enjoy!

Beautiful colonial-style beachfront boutique hotel, surrounded by surf and coconut palms. Terrific cuisine, prompt, warm and enthusiastic service. Highly recommended.

Really nice boutique hotel. Vast airy rooms and nice food. Right on the beach but set away from the busier / noisier areas. 6 big ground floor rooms are very convenient for the dining rea and pool.
