Very few places in life have the Aha effect, when you come through the impressive gates and see this colonial building, the beautiful terrace and then the Indian Ocean directly in front of you. That was amazing and first impressions count. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the rooms are well laid out and large, offering a very. comfortable stay with plenty of room to relax. The food was excellent and the pool was well looked after and provided an opportunity to swim some lengths after surfing in the sea. The sunloungers directly overlooking the sea were special and access to the sea is direct from the hotel terrace. All in all a luxurious environment and one that we would love to repeat

We chose this beautiful villa to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect romantic getaway. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and elegant surroundings made us feel completely relaxed and special. The food was absolutely amazing — every meal was delicious, well prepared, and thoughtfully presented. It truly added to the experience and made the celebration even more memorable. Enjoying great food together in such a calm and private setting was something we’ll always cherish. The villa itself was spotless, cozy, and full of charm, creating the perfect space to celebrate love and special moments. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and respectful of our privacy, which we really appreciated. My wife had an unforgettable birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate it. Highly recommended for everyone looking for a romantic and memorable stay. We will definitely return.

Great room, service, food, views and staff. Large rooms, views across the beach and sea are just on the veranda. Food was absolutely spot on, the children were also very happy. If you need to tweak any of the food for the kids just ask. Very attentive and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Our lunch at this stunning property by the picturesque beach was absolutely delightful! Every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Wow big star to the entire teamthey were warm, professional, and friendly from start to finish. This villa truly feels like a home away from home. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. Overall, it was a genuinely wonderful experience.

This hotel was the last stop on our month tour of India and Sri Lanka and we found it to be the most perfect oasis - it was a blend of elegance and luxury yet comfortable and low key. We loved the setting and spacious sea-view room. The staff were incredible and understated - they were so kind, hospitable and responsive. The food at breakfast, when we ordered snacks, and a late lunch were all really great and the seating area under the portico is perfect. Service to lounge chairs near the pool is lovely when you're in a wet bathing suit. The staff allowed us to have a 2pm check out as our flight was late in the evening from Colombo - this was a huge perk and much appreciated. The other guests were a blend of locals and westerners and all were considerate and classy. We dined at the resort and in Ahangama at a few waterfront restaurants. It was fun to have variety so close by. We made an afternoon trip to Galle and that was a perfect short getaway without missing too much of the beach and sunset at Mosvold Villa. We would love to stay here again and hope to get back before too long.

Например, несколько десятилетий такой привязанностью для меня были AMAN Resorts (пока их создатель и вдохновитель не покинул этот мир) Не стоит сравнивать Mosvold Villa c Aman, это разные ценовые категории, но в Mosvold вы найдете сходные и совершенно уникальные сегодня качества. Это место вас вдохновляет и не обманывает ваши лучшие ожидания. Люди с разнообразным опытом путешествий знают, чего это стоит и, возможно, правильно меня поймут. Далее лаконично о том, что вам понравится в отеле: надеюсь всё! Локация front ocean, лучший пляж на юго-западе Шри Ланка Кухня - лучший Шеф на побережье Front Office - 5 из 5-ти баллов Сервис - 5 из 5-ти балов Accommondation - прекрасные просторные комнаты с большими балконами и с панорамными видами на океан. Piacevole hotel con bungalow tra gli alberi della foresta peccato il rumore dell’ AC e con flip dei ventilatori ma si risolve con il tappi per orecchi . Per gli spostamenti al buio dalla camera al ristorante e viceversa occorre essere accompagnati dal personale del hotel . Dispone di piscina e ristorante a buffet per lo più cucina locale , servizio di accoglienza molto cortese e disponibile .

Incredible stay here. Lovely clean spacious room, staff even cleaned the room whilst I was out. Amazing staff lovely to chat to and very accommodating. Really nice pool and outside area for relaxing. Really enjoyed the breakfast and lunch, really good food. Highly recommend staying here!

What a great experience this hotel is. We were greeted at our Van by hotel reception, they advised during our stay to ask for whatever we would like. This was not empty words as every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Along with the great views and beautiful rooms the staff at this hotel is what made it special. All F&B staff were polite and friendly, Ajith made sure we were looked after and our stomachs were always full. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you are thinking about it.. don't think just do!
