All'interno del vigneto, il resort, perfettamente inserito nel contesto offre un servizio ottimo. La vista dell'Etna che domina da lontano e le vigne che circondano la bella piscina sono la vista che vi accompagna nel vostro soggiorno. Ottima la colazione dolce e salato. Bella la camera. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e ci siamo rilassati in un bellissimo contesto. Ci ritornerei.

Siamo venuti da Roma e abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza straordinaria al Cavanera Etnea Resort & Wine Experience. Il percorso illustrativo nel vigneto è stato coinvolgente e ben curato, seguito da una degustazione di vini che ci ha stupito, in particolare il passito Zibibbo, davvero eccezionale. L’aperitivo in terrazza al tramonto sull’Etna ha creato un’atmosfera magica e indimenticabile. Un ringraziamento speciale a Roberto Raciti, il sommelier, la cui passione e competenza ci hanno coinvolti profondamente, rendendo ogni momento dell’esperienza unico e appassionante. The hotel is located in this lovely out of town vineyard and it is really quiet, but has good amenities. We found wine tasting and restaurants nearby, which are also great within 10-15 mins drive.

Cavenera Wine Resort was beautiful and the rooms were the nicest of our trip. Bed and pillows comfortable, good breakfast with many selections. Beautiful pool and grounds. Outstanding views from the beautifully designed restaurant. My only criticisms were there was no Consierge or sommelier and the menu was limited to fancy high end and expensive food. Our couscous and swordfish was good, but on the second night we had a wine tasting and lunch off the property and we only wanted a salad or appetizer for dinner. Appetizer menu was inadequate and no salad menu. There was only at table wine tasting which was very expensive. So we bought a bottle instead. And there was only the waiter doing the wine tasting. Need to bump up the menu and always have a sommelier at the dinner hour.

This was our second stay at Cavanera. The setting is amazing and the restaurant, Riserva, is outstanding. The surrounding area is a wine lover’s paradise. Things to improve…. They should just let the air conditioning run in the gym. It’s a sauna in there. They only turn it on if someone wants to use it which makes no sense to me. Also, we were there over three days and the whole time there was a dead mouse on the steps that lead to the pool. It is to be expected, you are in the middle of a vineyard after all. But leave it there for three days?!? None of this will stop me from coming back. The positives far outweigh the negatives but you know…. The devil is in the details. Looking forward to be back at Cavanera!

The accommodations, breakfast and staff were great. The winery and vineyard were excellent. Only concern was the meal service is slow. Management needs to have more servers on the shift for the dinner service. The servers were great but too few. Overall, the experience was very nice.

Nicely decorated rooms in a beautiful winery with a view of mount Etna. Very quiet, equipped with a pool and gym, thus perfect for a relaxed stay. Unfortunately, the breakfast room at the pool is about 100m away from the rooms, so a rainy day makes breakfast a little uncomfortable. Same with the restaurant in a large winery hall (easily serving 100 people). Dinner is absolutely overcharged (menu + wine more than 200 Euro for 2), but the next option is almost 10 km away.

Siamo stati a pranzo il giorno di Pasqua (era la seconda volta) siamo rimasti nuovamente soddisfatti,tutto davvero buono,vino eccellente,personale preparato (professionali e premurosi tutto lo staff)Roberto ci ha fatto visitare pure le cantine (a sorpresa)ed è stato impeccabile!!!
