再好的硬件设施在不守信还各种狡辩的时候都毫无意义且滑稽可笑!几十年的差旅度假行程中各种级别的酒店都住过,从乡村民宿到奢华酒店入住体验都非常愉快,但被这家这次的恶劣态度震惊到了!
因为前次入住调整后的房间能看到河景,我们就希望出行四天之后回到伦敦如果能入住到同一个房间就再次预订,和前台沟通后确认保证可以,我们就站在前台做了又一次预订,前台説已经做好了备注保证是同一个房间,并且説等我们回来寄存的行李就会已经放到房间里了,我们就放心出行了,等四天之后回到酒店再次办理入住手续直到拿到钥匙才发现不是同一个房间,当时就愣了一下,告诉前台我要先去房间确认一下,结果发现新房间完全是相反的方向对着内庭院,而且欢迎卡片再次写错了性别,当即打电话反馈,接线员説前台无人接电话(这都可以?!),説会通知相关人员(经理)打回电话,结果半个多小时都没有任何消息!(我们是后来覆盘整个过程时才意识到其实那个时候他们就已经知道自己在做什么了!)只好又打电话去催。终于有个自称经理但不报名字的人打来电话説那个房间没有了,同类型的也都没有了,整个酒店都订满了,他这么説的同时我们打开携程页面,发现所有的房型都有,我们把整个预订的过程告诉他,他辩解説做预订的同事(当天没上班,而且后面两天也都没在前台看到)并没有保证是同一个房间,只是説尽量,我告诉他当时预订的条件就是要能入住同一个房间,得到前述的保障后才预订的,而且还取消了在别的酒店的预订。令人气愤的问题来了,这位经理(后来实在忍不住问了名字才知道叫Victor)居然问我们取消的是哪家酒店,虽然忍着气告诉了他,但也同时问他为什么要问这个问题,和你有什么关系吗?!我们要住的是答应好的同一个房间,因为我们计划在房间内看烟花跨年,他听到这里居然説我们没有把这个重要的讯息告诉他们!我们做什么难道需要向你们汇报吗?!我们问能不能给我们一个房间只是用来看烟花,他也不答应,告诉我们看烟花可以在酒店的楼前河边看,(我们当然知道可以户外看,但这和在房间里看是一回儿事吗?)因为我们5点钟在外面有约会,而这时已经4点半多了,没有时间再听他辩解,又来不及临时换酒店,只好答应就这样吧。更好笑的是在这其中我提到欢迎卡又写错了性别,这位Victor经理居然又是一通辩解,(我只是过了四天又住回来,而且是被保证了会住到同一个房间的),也仅仅是辩解而已,并没有像第一次一样再送一张更正的来。
31号晚上在户外冒着寒风被树挡着看完烟花后我们专门看了酒店的房间灯光,原来本应属于我们的房间亮着灯,而同位置的别的楼层的都是黑的!
第三天退房前偶然遇到了一位名字叫Airu(拼写不一定准确,是个韩国女经理),她耐心听我説完了整个不可思议的过程,很诚挚地道歉并且提出要给一个补偿,一瓶香槟或一个酒店的蜡烛,我选了蜡烛,她亲自送到房间。我开玩笑説这下我每天看到这个蜡烛就会想到你们酒店,她説“the good part only”.如果不是遇到这位经理,这次的入住评分是负分!
Well what can I say, I have been visiting London for so many years and stayed in all categories of hotels, in the luxury part I stayed in Claridge's, Dorchester and Rubens and I can confidently say that from now on The Savoy will be my number one choice for a luxury hotel in London
We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite when they knew that it's my wife's first time in London, great service and great attention to detail from everyone..don't wanna forget names but Zibi and Konrad from Concierge team and Kayleigh from front desk (her colleague who showed us to our room, I apologize if I forgot the name but it's easy to get who was on the front desk with Kayleigh on September 22nd)
The room itself is vintage style with great amenities which we loved, my wife loved the Dyson hair dryer and I loved the bath amenities
Breakfast was the best I had in any luxury hotel in London in terms of service and quality, I highly recommend the gallery for breakfast, unfortunately we haven't tried other hotel restaurants
Location is right on strand and few minutes away from Covent garden and Piccadilly circus
You may find that I described the hotel with great value which sounds strange for an expensive luxury hotel but it's true, I felt it's worth every penny compared to other luxury London hotels
Overall a great stay and will definitely be back.
My stay at The Savoy in London was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable—warm, professional, and truly attentive to every detail. Every staff member I encountered made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.
The breakfast was another highlight: beautifully presented, with an incredible selection of fresh, high-quality dishes, from perfectly cooked eggs to the best pastries I’ve ever had. Enjoying it in such an elegant setting was the perfect start to each day.
The Savoy truly lives up to its legendary reputation—an unforgettable experience in every way.
